Lights in the Night

The white flurries fall as he walks down the street
The silence only broken by the snow beneath his feet
The soft crunch of snow
With no where to go
Only his footprints to show

The lights on the homes seem to have no end
The trees and the bushes, with lights, they bend
The red and the green
The beautiful sheen
Shines off the snow to be seen

He has never before found such peace of mind
This special type of night is one of a kind
The various lights
That always look right
The beautiful lights in the night
